Introduction to SceneStyle Lighting Controls
SceneStyle controls provide an easy way of upgrading your lighting giving you effects and functions normally only found in systems requiring special wiring and centralised control systems. No special wiring or configuration is required for the SceneStyle. Simply remove (or ask an electrician to remove) your existing light switches and replace them with the Scenestyle2, to control two circuits, or the SceneStyle4 to control four circuits. Two way operation is possible by connecting standard electrical light switches via their existing wiring to the SceneStyle2 or 4.
The SceneStyle control allows you to store and recall scenes involving up to four different lighting circuits with different dimming levels for each circuit.
Select your favourite scenes by pressing any of the four numbered buttons on the control. Lights then smoothly adjust until they reach the new preset levels, each circuit dimming up or down as necessary. Coloured Leds on each button change to let you know which scene has been selected. Increase or decrease levels manually if required using the raise and lower buttons. Use the All On or All Off buttons to switch all lights on full or all lights off as you leave the room (with all lights dimming smoothly and slowly until completely off).
If you need to adjust the lights without leaving your armchair, all SceneStyle controls come complete with a remote control that replicates the buttons on the wall.
Controlling your lights in this way does not just look good. The process of dimming up or down ensures that the lights do not experience sudden changes in temperature and this helps to prolong the life of your bulbs. Running your lights at less than their full brightness also helps to prolong their life, and save energy.
