Starter Kits

The myhome247™Starter Kit system comes with a FREE online Remote Storage Account so you can access your system from anywhere in the WORLD! No subscription necessary*

With it’s ONE TOUCH set up and simple to use online display you will never have to worry that your property is unsecure again.

To provide 24hour security, the myhome247™Starter Kit’s additional wireless sensors can be set to raise audible alarms, or interact with other devices (such as turning on a light) while real-time alerts to security breaches can be received instantly via email and SMS text message (SMS bundles sold separately) .

The myhome247™Starter Kit can be set up to send email alerts up to eight different addresses when abnormal activity is detected in response to whatever rules (or macros) the user has set.

This allows the user to instantly see what is happening in the property and alleviates false alarms.

Critically, the captured images/video clips & data are saved remotely to a hosted secure server, which means that any unauthorised intruder cannot corrupt the device the images are stored on.

Cameras and Accessories

A variety of devices can be connected to your system including cameras and accessories such as water sensors, temperature sensors, motion sensors and door / window sensors that detect opening or closing. Cameras required a mains connection and either a network cable connecting them to the controller, or a system extra, such as the homeplug that eliminates the newtork cable and sends data via the mains wiring in your home. All accessories apart from the cameras are battery operated and communicate wirelessly with the controller.

In addition to providing secure and monitoring functionality, the range of accessories provide users with the ability to control the features from the same platform. A clever power controller can control any electrical appliance such as a lamp, giving the appearance of activity within the home or office.

The system can also incorporate special sensors that can detect the presence of water, thus acting as an early flood warning system for basement flats or utility rooms with plumbing problems.

System Extras

A pair of homeplugs will allow you to connect a camera to the system without the inconvenience of installing a network cable between the camera and the controller. A network hub is also available if you need to add extra points to your home network.

Remote Access

The basic starter kit comes with a camera and a door / window sensor. As the total number of devices does not exceed two, you do not need to subscribe to a remote access account as a free account is included.

However, if you install additional cameras or accessories, or if you wish to view more than one location from one account, you will need to subscribe to one of the remote access accounts. Choose the appropriate account depending upon the number of cameras and accessories you have in your combined systems.
