SpeakerCraft was the first company to introduce a pivoting speaker, helping the AIM™ series to re-define the performance of in-ceiling loudspeakers. Now SpeakerCraft has made this technology available in an in-wall loudspeaker design.
Just like the AIM in-ceiling models, the AIM LCR 1 in-wall speaker provides a completely pivoting baffle that focuses the soundstage directly toward the listener.
The versatile AIM LCR 1 is a slender design that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. It features two 5 ¼” injection-moulded graphite cone drivers with phasing plugs and a single 1” silk dome tweeter.
The AIM LCR 1’s driver array can be pivoted vertically or horizontally by 17 degrees. The tweeter can be directed a further 30 degrees. Irrespective of angle, all drive units remain discreetly recessed behind a flush-mounted grille.
As a front channel speaker, the AIM LCR 1 will create a precise stereo image. As a surround speaker in a home theatre system, it can be directed away from the listener creating a more enveloping and diffuse soundstage.
The in-wall AIM LCR 1 will provide an entire front and surround sound stage to accompany flat panel display and plasma screen installations.
