Primare I30 Reference Dual-Mono Fully Balanced Integrated Amplifier 2 x 100W.
Designing the successor to the highly awarded A30.1 was always going to be a challenge, yet Primare has re-evaluated that amplifier, changing components where necessary to improve a class-leading design.
The I30 is a finely judged balance of high performance and convenience, delivering exceptional sound quality, ease-of-use and enduring reliability.
The pre-amplifier stage will accommodate six sources including two balanced inputs, ideal for maximising the potential of the balanced output CD31 CD player. The optional R20 RIAA amplifier permits the connection a of high quality analogue turntable with either a moving magnet or moving coil cartridge.
Like its predecessor, the I30 is dual-mono in construction ensuring precise stereo separation from source to speaker.
For most amplifiers, left and right channels will share circuitry, which can blur the distinction between them, undermining the stereo illusion.
Within the I30, the left and right channels are kept totally separate from input to speaker output. The input signals are totally discrete, each having its own dedicated power amplifier within the I30’s chassis. All input and output stages also have their own dedicated power supplies. The I30’s dual-mono construction creates an exceptionally accurate soundstage, with immense dynamic capabilities.
Fundamental to any amplifier design is its stability under varying speaker loads and in true Primare tradition, the I30 is a consummate powerhouse. With a current delivery of 40A and a power output ranging from 100W to over 180W into a 4 ohm load, the I30 is capable of accurately driving virtually any high quality loudspeaker.
Convenience is optimised with full remote control operation through the C22 and C32 system remotes. Fixed and variable line level outputs permit future system expansion.
